Cycled to Chorley Rail Station to buy rail tickets for planned cycle ride in Scotland on Wed. Late morning walked to Lock farm and saw builders who had just excavated by rear door and came across the top coping stones of the original well. It has been back filled many years ago.

A nice walk through the grounds of Townley Hall, Burnley. After shopping at Asda called to see Dean to get update on his motorbike trip to Scotland. At Withnell Fold the carved tree in the form of Thomas B Parke has been cu off at the waist fu to it being rotten.

Today is the 17th Craft, Produce & Flower Show at St Chads School, Town Ln., Whittle-le-Woods. Doors open to the public at 2pm & prizes at 3:30pm. Try and come along if you can.
